Belle Court Apartments
|
Built in 1913, Belle Court was designed by Ellis F. Lawrence, the co-founder and first Dean of the University of Oregon School of Architecture. This prominent brick building has an expansive yard and light filled apartments with much of their original detailing and charm. Belle Court is a striking example of Portland's Jacobethan Revival architectural style and in 1986, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It's just a few blocks to shopping opportunities of NW 21st and 23rd Avenue and a short walk to the Pearl District. It's a hub for public transit and a block from Providence Park.
